Life Skills is the largest agency in the St. Louis/St. Charles
area providing services strictly to individuals with developmental
disabilities, including autism. Life Skills' Employment
Services team can help you find and maintain competitive,
meaningful employment, whether you're looking to enter the
workforce or change careers. One-on-one services allow Life Skills
employment specialists to match qualified applicants with
meaningful employment, and we continue to support our clients as
they remain on the job. These services offer flexible scheduling
based on individual needs.

Through community collaboration and partnership with local
employers and service agencies we strive to increase the number of
people with developmental disabilities employed in a competitive
work environment. Together, we identify, educate and recruit
businesses in St. Charles County, St. Louis City and St. Louis
County to employ people with developmental disabilities while
providing the following services:
- Disability and diversity awareness training
- Recruitment and hiring
- Pre-screened candidates
- Job and task analysis
- Job coaching and retention
Our ultimate goal is to support the business community by
providing creative solutions to staffing needs, a ready pool of
qualified applications and ongoing support to employees. In
turn, business partners gain valuable and dedicated employees,
develop a stronger understanding of support systems and achieve
diversity goals through inclusive practices.
